In 1985 I made this jump at a drag strip in Palmdale, California. The jump was 100' ramp to ramp. I overshot the jump by 85', thus breaking the current world record of 212' by TWO feet! 212 feet ramp to FACE! Broke 13 bones and flatlined on impact.
